Our Director



Moshe Margolin established JEWISH EXPLORATIONS  in 2014. He has over 35 years of experience leading a variety of Jewish educational programs and entities both in the United States and Israel. For the past dozen years, he has specialized in creating, promoting and conducting adult Jewish learning programs. He has forged transdenominational partnerships to promote adult Jewish learning in communities across North America.


Moshe holds degrees from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Teachers College, Columbia University.


He is the Director of JEWISH EXPLORATIONS

and Principal of Adult Jewish Learning Programs, LLC.


Prior Educational Management Positions:

  • Founding Director, Office of Student Activities, Rothberg School for Overseas Students, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem
  • Program Officer, The United States-Israel Educational Foundation, the Fulbright Commission at the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv
  • Program Director, Group IST, an international travel provider for the Elderhostel Program
  • Assistant Director, Office of  Academic Affairs of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem (in NYC)
  • Director, Office of Academic Affairs of Ben-Gurion University (in NYC)
  • Director, Office of Academic Affairs of Tel Aviv University (in NYC)
  • Founding Vice President for Educational Services, Birthright Israel
  • Founding Director, Me'ah National Initiative, Hebrew College
  • Founding Senior Director, Context: The Adult Learning Programs of The Jewish Theological Seminary

While living in Israel, Moshe served as an Education Officer in the Israel Defense Forces and taught on bases all over the country and participated in Operation Shalom HaGalil.


He and his wife, Dr. Judith Margolin, live in Priceton, NJ and have three grown children and three grandchildren.
